No regrets

I find it amazing that when the time comes to leave my garden that has been my pride and joy for a time, I have no regrets.  I am happy to get on with the next project.

I do look at certain plants like my pair of clematises and wonder why they give their best display when I am on the point of saying good bye.

But then I look at my wide open land and the beautiful topsoil and I get all excited.

It's a new beginning, and I love it.

  1. Exciting time for you :-)
I've left beautiful gardens behind me too. As a renter I have had people say to me Why bother for someone else's benefit? But wherever I move to the first thing I look at is what I can do with the garden.
It's slow going in this current house of ours. I must first overcome the feral jasmine that has runners everywhere before I can really plant anything. But...I have a plan and it will one day be very nice.
I can't imagine having a section around my home and not doing something pretty with it, and you obviously can't either :-)
